Donation Requests

Each year the Bulls receive over 1000 donation requests from worthy organizations across the Triangle and beyond. Unfortunately, we must decline many meaningful appeals for the simple, but important reason that our funds are limited, while requests for those funds are not.

For this reason, we require written requests to arrive at least 4 weeks prior to your event date. From there, many factors are included in the evaluation of these proposals. We try to concentrate our efforts on organizations that benefit children in the immediate area of Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill.

The Bulls have chosen not to grant donations to individuals, religious or political groups that do not directly support children. In addition, our monetary donations are reserved for our own private charity, the Durham Bulls Youth Athletic League.
